Many many people in developing countries have no electricity at all. In our lives, this is nearly impossible to even imagine- I would not even be able to write this blog without electricity. At night, the dark prevents us from doing a lot of things, and light is an essential part of all our lives. This is why I was inspired to do this project- to help all those people in third world countries such as Africa, India, etc. and to light up their lives <3 The chart below from The World Bank shows some of the countries I am talking about, and the percentage of their population that have access to electricity. It's pretty shocking.
